Aga Khan Mausoleum

$0.00

The Mausoleum which houses the body of Sir Sultan Muhammad Shah, the Aga Khan, sits at the top of a hill in the west bank of the Nile and is designed to mimic Fatimid Egyptian architecture. This is due to the deep connection of the Aga Khan’s family to Egypt, being formerly the center of power of the Muslim Shia faith in the past. To this day, a red rose is laid on the Aga Khan’s body every day.
