Alexandria National Museum

One of the must-go locations of Alexandria is the Alexandrian National Museum. Inside, you can take a historical journey taking you from the Pharaonic era to the Hellenistic peak era all the way up to the Byzantine era during the rise of Islam in Egypt. Artifacts collected in this museum were found all over the country including underwater artifacts recovered from Aboukir Bay that were meant to reach the port city of Heracleion-Thonis.
