Founded in 1956, the Alamein Museum was built to commemorate the efforts of one of the most important battles of WWII, the Alamein Battle which broke out between the Allies and the Axis Powers in October 1942. The museum has an open-air show to display large vehicles and rare weapons that were used during the war such as their cannons, tanks, and armored vehicles. The museum itself is divided into a combined lobby and 4 individual sections highlighting the logistics, strategies, and results of the Egyptian, British, German, and Italian military at the time.
