Ismailia Museum

This museum is one of the oldest in Egypt, built by engineers working for the Suez Canal, it is distinguished by its collection of over 3,800 unique artifacts discovered in the Suez Canal region and Sinai from the Pharaonic, Phoenician, and Greco-Roman eras. Its collection is known for including the granite Sphinx statue from the Middle Kingdom of Egypt and a marble sarcophagus from the Ptolemaic era.
