Lake Timsah (Crocodile Lake)

Lake Timsah is one of the most famed lakes in Egypt, known for its magnificent blue waters. Known as the “Crocodile Lake” in Arabic, the lake lies between the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea and is overlooked by numerous sandy beaches. It's a beautiful spot where one can rejuvenate by walking by the lake’s cool waters or enjoying a coffee or cold drinks in the patios of the many cafes there; and don’t worry, there aren’t any crocodiles in the water.
