Sohag Museum

This museum overlooking the Nile embodies the shape of a Pharaonic temple, it celebrates the great extensive era of the Pharaohs with an exclusive collection of 5,000 artifacts and antiquities. The collection includes displays from Abydos and Akhmim, home of Ramses the Great. As Sohag is famous for its textiles, there's a special collection with different textiles from the Pharaoh era to the Ottoman era.
