Abu Abbas al-Mursi Mosque

Built in 1796, this major landmark in Islam was built in honor of the highly regarded religious leader, Abu Abbas. The mosque is gigantic and holds a beautiful cream-color as well as beautiful swirling Islamic calligraphy designs. This location is a major pilgrimage site so if you were to visit, make sure you dress modestly and plan to leave your shoes at the entrance.
