Lake Nasser Temples of Kalabsha

This Ancient Egyptian temple was originally where the Aswan Dam is today, but was later moved south to protect it from rising waters. The temple is regarded as one of the best examples of Egyptian architecture in Nubia. It is the second largest free standing temple in Aswan, only second to Abu Simbel.
