Meidum Pyramid

A truly unique pyramid, one that started off as a step pyramid but was then converted into a true pyramid, presenting a real-time transition between the Early Dynastic period to the Old Kingdom of Egypt. Many Egyptologists consider this pyramid's structure to be the "first'' and original pyramid structure. The transition has left many mysteries, including why and how the pyramid was built and who it truly belonged to considering it's been claimed by two different Pharaohs.
