Orabi Museum

Ahmad Orabi stands as one of Egypt's greatest revolutionary and anti-colonial symbols. The museum, which was previously Orabi’s home, tells the story of an Egyptian peasant rising from poverty to end the reign of a foreign royal family that was supported by the British and back in Egyptians hands. The museum tells the story of Egyptian people rising against occupation and finally gaining liberation from colonial forces.
