Tanta Museum

The Museum, formerly the town hall of Tanta, was repurposed to become the Tanta Museum of Antiquities. The museum was officially opened in 1913, however, it was recently renovated and expanded in 2019. The museum exhibits 2,000 rare artifacts from different eras, as well as different currencies from the Pharaonic, Roman, Islamic and Coptic eras.
